EPM – Stabilization Period

MaxImizer

11 May 2005

When an EPM (MaxImizer) system is installed, there will be an immediate increase (spike) in power, fuel savings and emissions reduction. Then through the next 3 tanks full (average), the system will stabilize into it final high fuel efficiency of increased savings, power and a high reduction of emissions.  This is known as the “Stabilization Period.”

It should also be noted that the stabilization period has been observed to take up to 5 tanks full if the engine has excessive mileage – then the results are fully achieved.

Furthermore, the system always works once it stabilizes. It is a simple mechanism and law of physics that all fluids - going through a properly focused strong magnetic field - have to react.

Here you can see potential savings.
Based on 15,000 Miles per year - 10% (we have put together an analysis of what one saves at only 10%. We generally see around 15% on new vehicles and more on older ones.)

Remember using the MaxImizer allows your use of LOWER OCTANE FUEL even when it requires PREMIUM.

There are a number of properties that take place during the stabilization period:

1.      All fuel bi-products such as varnish and carbon deposits - in the fuel delivery system - will be re-absorbed into the energized fuel. If it came out of the fuel, it will be will magnetically [through higher electromotive forces] absorbed back into the fuel. Deposits will be cleaned from lines, injectors or jets. This will re-orient poor spray patterns back to normal. This simple cleaning will increase efficiency.

2.      Magnetic Fuel Line Saturation – when applying the Magnetizer Fuel Energizer to the fuel line going to the engine, the fuel takes on a millivoltage charge which breaks up the chemical associations (molecular clusters). This increases the atomization efficiency for better burning.

All steel and steel alloy fuel lines from the Fuel Energizer installation will absorb some of the fuel’s energy [millivoltage] in the form of magnetism. This reduces the charge/energy in the fuel until the metal becomes magnetically saturated. Once the saturation is accomplished, the fuel is delivered fully energized and the full EPM efficiency is achieved. Through the years of research and testing, the metal saturation period usually takes about 3 tanks full.

3.      Carbon cleaning period – when the EPM system  is first installed, the emissions will immediately  go down. Once the system starts to stabilize (the increased efficiency of the flame curtain – burns all the fuel - not letting pockets of unburned fuel to be released as HC & CO emissions), the combustion will start to burn off any carbon in the combustion chamber.

The Carbon Monoxide emissions will continue to be very low [through the stabilization] which is a base indicator that fuel efficiency has increased. The Hydrocarbons which immediately go down upon installation, has shown to go up a little and fluxuate as the carbon in the chamber - burns off. Once the stabilization period is over, the Hydrocarbons will go down to their very low-test levels.

4.      Compression Ring seal – during the Stabilization period, the increased flame curtain burning efficiency has shown to reach down into the compression ring and burn any carbon off which increase the seal and the compression. This is important as compression goes up which helps fuel efficiency and blow-by [of the combustion gases] stops contaminating the oil – which is good for engine longevity.

On some final notes – if an engine has vacuum or manifold leaks, the increase in combustion pressure from the higher burning efficiency may result in lower mileage. It is impossible for the EPM to fix mechanical problems on an engine.

If the car is getting the normal increases and suddenly the mileage goes down, the normal culprit is a dirty air cleaner. Just replace it and the mileage will go up.  A properly energized system requires the full measure of air. If after replacing the air cleaner, the mileage does not go up – there is a vacuum leak or some other type of problem. The magnets never wear out and always deliver the electromotive effect to all the fluids.

Diesel Stabilization

Diesel Fuel Energizer systems are engineered for the specific fuel delivery system used on that model engine as many model engines offer different fuel delivery systems. Magnetizer Tech will work with you on identifying which Magnetizer Fuel Energizer system is required.

Diesel Fuel Energizer systems have been observed to take much longer than gasoline to stabilize. Due to the heavier viscosity of diesel versus gasoline, the millivoltage charge is less, thereby the diesel fuel gives off a greater percentage of its energy to the steel parts until saturation.

In smaller car/van type engines, the final fuel saving increase ranges from 8-15%. In the larger commercial big-rig engines, the final increases range between 5.5%-10% depending on the size of the engine. In the huge Industrial engines, the final increases are generally 4.5%-6.7%. In all engines, the initial savings spike is normally 2%-4.5%.

Since the millivoltage charge is less and there are usually much larger steel lines, we have observed tests in which the big-rig trucks stabilize at 2500-3000 miles - then the system comes on with its final, full increased efficiency.

It should be noted that most big-rig operators have observed greater power in the rig’s ability to go up hills in a higher gear.

All Magnetizer Fuel Energized engine owners report a reduction of opacity (emissions).
